I would like to know why in our so called free society I think dictartorship that why cant someone open up a bar restaurant establishment for smokers only, your opinion please

I wish I knew, although I am a life long non smoker, I still believe in choice and there should be at least one place people can go and still sit back with others like themselves and just relax and enjoy time out.

You sort of still can. Go to any small bar/restaurant in the midwest and there are still smoking sections. Although more towns and states are trying to be smoke free. However, one shouldn't have to light up to be allowed in one, they just shouldn't complain if they want to have great food or see a great band and there's smoke. When I was a non-smoker, I spent the fair share of my life in establishments where smoking was permitted whether it was a restaurant, bar, or I even remember when airplanes had a smoking section.

If on a certain night I choose not to smoke, I wouldn't want to be turned down by a mandatory smoking place even if I'm tolerant of it.

I think even cigar lounges are going by the wayside now.

you're right!! because non smokers would be like, oh hell no!! i want to go too. it's the same as opening up a gay bar or something. if straight people want to go, they can, but they shouldn't.

people are quick to scream that somethings not fair. it's sad. they should just get over it and go to olive garden and let everyone else be happy, but they won't.

* Why can't they?... laws prevent them... it isn't politically correct, ya know... Yet I wonder why they romanticize smoking in the movies even still.

I am not a smoker, but feel for all the smokers that have no place to go.
