How about trying to introduce them to JESUS, instead of a denomination......?

If he is truly your friend, then you will accpet him and respect his beliefs. You may be baptist, but your friend doesn't want to be baptist. There aren't two denominations that I can think that are more different than those two. Accept your friend and care about him. If you are friends with someone, you should care about what HE wants rather than what YOU want to change about him. Being catholic still means that he is a Christian. Your own judgmental attitude towards who Catholics are is damaging the way that you look at your friend as a human being. He still deserves to choose what religion he wants to follow. Catholics are STILL Christians, and you need to accept that rather than changing someone to please your own mind.

Simply leave the person alone. You are not acting as a friend if you try to lead a person away from their faith.
If you were to actually study and learn something about the Catholic faith, you would see that your friend does not need to be converted.
Again, I hope this other person has other friends besides you.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe the Catholic church is where GOD wants your friend to be? There is so much difference between the Catholic and the Baptist church that the person is unlikely to ever be comfortable or productive anywhere but where they are.
I'm a Catholic who tried attending a Pentacostal church with some friends. I was miserable and could contribute very little to the church. Only when I went back to my Catholic faith did I feel like I was where God wanted me to be.

The Catholic church is not the "true" church, neither is the Baptist. They are just denominations. As a Baptist, I don't think we should try and poach people from other churches to ours. Now, if your Catholic friend is unhappy there, by all means share the doctrine of our Baptist faith with him/her. Our doctrine and theirs is so different, unless they really want to leave the Catholic church, trying to make them change will only hurt your friendship. Now, if they were in a cult, aka the Mormon or JW, then by all means, try and covert.

Catholics and Baptist are all Christians. Why don't you convert to Catholicism and go to Mass with your friend?

You can't!!! Not your job to covert anyone but only to direct them to truth and the Baptists follow the Catholic teachings anyway so why want to anyway? If you don't believe it, i can show you all kinds of proof of what I say and I have been both so I know what I am talking about. it is the Holy Spirit's job to convert, our job is to present truth which is planting the seed and then let the Holy Spirit do His job.

i don't know, i don't think catholics are going to hell or anything, so maybe you should just encourage him or her to have a personal relationship with the Lord. there are good points of catholicism. they often have the reverence for God that we protestants sometimes lack, you know? but protestants often go for the personal relationship and are more engaged in the Word...
i really don't know. we are called to be united by Christ, not to stir up dissention.
maybe you need to pray about how you can better accept him or her. certainly catholicism can teach you some things. likewise, your friend will benefit by your role in his or her life.
live like a christian. your testimony is your best asset. also, don't forget pray about it.

You don't. A person's religion is their own choice. You have nothing to do with it and if you want to keep that person as a friend I'd suggest never mentioning converting him or her.
