I just got pink eye from my sister and this morning i woke up with pink eye. We called the doctor and got Meds. She said that it would be ok for me to go to this party at 7:00 pm. Now im just wondering if i can wear any make up and how should i put it on?Also is there any thing I can do to make it look less noticible? l PS. im been on the eye drops for about 5 hours , no more puss is coming out and i been sleeping a lot. Thanks

As a healthcare provider I can tell you that the make-up would be OK. The problem is that the bacteria that caused your pinkeye can live in things like mascara tubes. The makeup that you use will have to be pitched. I would recommend it anyway, it could already be contaminated. So if the bacteria is in the make-up,you could reinfect yourself after the treatment. See what I mean? And wash your hands alot. Pinkeye is usually passed by peoples hands....you touch you eye and then touch the other eye, etc.

I suggest if you have what is called conjunctivitis you may infect other people you come in contact with ! so skip the party hon !!
