i have ethnic hair and it is thing. i cant use hot combs because it will break. i dont want to cut it so what should i do!!!!!!!!

Wow, I love people's advice for you! Okay the thing with ethnic hair you need to remember, is A - when you cut it, cut it dry! and B - if you can see through the ends (they are scraggly and dead) they NEED to be cut off. Are you washing daily? This is a big no - no. Try using oil based products, if grease is too heavy for you. When you use hot combs, like any other tool, you need to protect your hair first. Have you thought about extensions?

You are wise not to use hot combs. Unfortunately cutting may be the solution. Always keep a nice cut. if it is thin, it needs to be shorter.
Use large rollers in your hair and let it dry naturally.

maybe you should think about thinning your hair. my mom used to do that to my hair because its very thick.
