Hi. Happy Sabbath. Hey, this pathetically exists in the adult world 2. It's a sad waste of energy & time. Hey, sometimes everybody wins & sometimes everybody loses. It's life, but this stupidity is really a part of socialization, so this problem doesn't have to exist. We all can do something against this nonsense instead of blindly following the status quo. Take care.

Not all guys are like that.I know a lot of women who act the same way when another girl does better than them.It is called "wounded ego".You did say "boys" tho, not men.I dont mind losing at something to a woman, I cant be best at everything but I still like to play. There will be things I'm better at than her.Thats just life.

Because he's trying to manipulate you to: 1. Feel sorry for him, and therefore, be responsible for his feelings of insecurity. 2. He's using an old ploy--the "poor little puppy-dog bait--to get a *special* favor (you know which one, possibly). 3. He's in the process of disenfranchising you from your own identity, so he won't have to grow up. When someone disenfranchises you, they persuade you to make their needs, feelings, life, your center, and discard your own.

Here's how to stay strong: 1. Set personal boundaries on all levels--emotional, physical, sexual, including morals: Each of us must face ourselves and what choices we include or reject, and those choices DO follow us for the rest of our lives. 2. Set long-term and short-term goals for your life based on YOUR dreams alone. Remember, if you get on someone else' bandwagon now, you may never have time for your own as the years pass by. 3. Have mercy on yourself and realistic expectations of yourself, one day at a time, one step at a time.

4. Avoid these types: a. someone who wants you to feel bad about yourself; b. someone who wants you to be responsible for his/her happiness; c. people who aim low and make it (they'll drag you down with them); d. someone who doesn't know where "you" leave off and he/she begins, and vice versa (if your personal boundaries get blurred, then you have no identity, and become empty, needy, and miserable); e. people who do NOT respect your personal boundaries, even when you've explained it to them in non-abusive terms. Then you may need to tell your parents, other adults who have authority.

Once you include an experience in your life, especially when your emotions are being manipulated by a narcissist, it dilutes your resources needed for your own survival in this world. Many live their entire lives faking a broken wing, and can see a sucker coming a mile away. Don't be dominated by whiners. It's a trap.
