I suggest you go to 'Do' something specific - walking, riding, yoga, improve your knowledge or learn something new.
I went on a Yoga holiday on the island of Crete (Greece) last year. I learned a bit of yoga, there were people to talk to if I wanted company, and low key outings or I could do my own thing unbothered.
Alternatively volunteer. National Trust, YHA and Wildlife organisations have 'working' holidays which are fun, companionable, make you feel well and you meet new people. They are also cheap/ good value.
Join a flotilla sailing holiday along the Croatian coast.
If you can afford it, go to a very tip top Spa like the Vigilius Mountain Retreat in Italy. Breathtaking, relaxed, pampering, de-stressing
Good Luck and enjoy where ever you go.

Depends on ur budget / time u have.If travellin far takes too much time, perhaps u shud pick somewhere close , not overseas coz u'll be too jetlagged, take time to recover, when u do,u 'll need to go back again.Best google ur options, which place thats near to u,mayb 2-4hrs flight n see wot they have to offer.Seriously no point goin too far from wer u r, 1 week isnt too much, wudnt u rather spend as much time..soakin up the sun, skiin, etc than to be runnin around not havin a relaxing holiday at all?Good Luck searching!

Are you interior the U.ok.? if so then i could advise Spain or Portugal. Any of the Atlantic islands are solid. try Lanzarote or Grand Canaria. in many situations sunny and a lot to do. you may get a solid cost now as an early booker or decide for a late deal.

Portugal is safe.

Wonderful beaches in the Algarve with lots of things to do day or night!

Praia da Rocha in Portimão has lots of variety in terms of people, restaurants, shopping as well as places to visit and explore.

It’s also good value for money ! So you won’t need to fork out a fortune in accommodation and food!

Have a great holiday!

Although I wasn't on my own, Vietnam is FANTASTIC, we were told it's a safe place and I must admit I felt happy to be wandering around-, perhaps more so in Ho Chi Ming City rather than Hanoi, (also went to Cambodia and found there very safe as well)and you more often than not meet up with other travellers, and really anywhere there is safety in numbers! Good luck with your travells.

Try Barbados or Prague, Czech Republic.

If you need a warm/hot climate, beautiful beaches, then I recommend Barbados..

If not needed for that paradise thing, then I recommend Prague, Czech Republic..

France is good as the people are safe and not really really interested in ladies and the places are cheap and fun!

That is so weird. I'm doing the same thing. How much money do you have to spend? And why are you going alone?
