Start doing "crack" instead of Coke!!! LOL
In reality, just have another drink choice in the fridge. I would suggest something sweet like apple juice or grape juice.

If you currently drink a lot of pop (especially of the caffienated variety), quitting cold turkey might not be a feasible option for you, unless you don't mind the headaches and the irritability that will accompany it.
I suggest gradually cutting back so that your body can get used to not having so much caffiene. For example, replace 12-oz cans with 8-oz cans. Or you can buy bottled pop and just pour it in a glass. A 24-oz bottle stretched over 3 days would come out to 8-oz per day. If you close the lid tightly, it shouldn't go flat on you. After awhile, you could switch to the 20-oz bottles or the 12-oz bottles and stretch those out for several days as well. By the time you are down to only 4-oz a day, you shouldn't have any problem just giving it up.
When my boyfriend quit drinking pop, he decided he needed a sweet drink to replace it with. He started out buying sugar-free Tropicana juices (also in the pop aisle) and now he drinks Crystal Light lemonade that has only 5 calories per serving. If you don't like just drinking water, replacing it with a sugar-free juice might be a good choice for you.
Good luck!

Have you ever thought that the reason why you don't like drinking soda is because you have not been drinking it CORRECTLY?? I bet you did not even know there was a right way to drink soda. I stumbled across this pretty interesting article that may help you fix your current roommate problem!

I started by mixing flavored carbonated water with juice at a 1:1 ratio (same amount of the carbonated water mixed with equal amount of juice). The juice satisfied the sugar craving and the carbonation of the water gave it the "pop" effect. Then I just started changing the ratio (more carbonated flavored water than juice) until I was just drinking the flavored carbonated water. Zero calories, fruit flavor, and no caffeine or sugar substitutes or other chemicals. I lost 8 lbs just by doing that. I was a soda addict!!!

For the truly desperate soda addicts, I suggest taking topamax. It makes pop taste really salty and like crap. You can't drink pop on this med even if you have so much pop in your house it's stacked to the ceiling.
Seriously though, I would suggest switching them to ice tea, then eventually unsweetened ice tea or just water.
