if you were in your forties and single where would you go to meet a decent man?

I am finding it difficult to met men my age so tell me where does a decent woman find a decent man and please dont say online..... somewhere else please.. the online thing is a jungle!

Ball games in the park, library, jogging, PTA meetings, Political Party Meeting. See a pattern here. You are most likely interested in a decent hard working man and you will find him where activities of everyday life happen. You will not find this man at a club, tractor pull, NASCAR race, etc. We are, after all, talking about intelligent, decent men aren't we. It may mean that you have to attend and do things that you have never considered before. But think; you can attend the city or county political party/council or board meeting a few times and get comfortable before you even have to open your mouth. Involved people are good smart people. Lot of people are saying "Church" and I fully disagree with that. Religious people are often old, stody, and set in their ways in addition to being judgemental, nasty, and beligerant if you do not cowtow to them and agree with everything they "dictate". A church is the one worst place and more dangerous as far as potential for verbal and physical abuse than a redneck beer hall.

I suggest taking classes in something that you
find interesting that isn't completely associated with
one gender or the other.

For instance, pottery is a great class to meet people
of the opposite sex: Your covered with clay, so you
don't have to stand too much on ceremony, and you
have something to talk about.
