I feel like all my boyfriend ever wants to do is have sex! He'll wake me up in the middle of the night just to do it, and half the time I'm barely awake so not really enjoying it! We have sex usually about 3 times a day, and I dont know if I can handle it anymore! Dont get me wrong, I love having sex with him, he's amazing, but it's just too much sometimes! I've tried to tell him before, but he gets all upset and just basically rolls over and goes to sleep! So, how do I tell him (without hurting his feelings) that I just don't want to do it?

Also, I'm 20 years old and he's 25. Maybe its the age difference?

You need to sit him down and talk to him when it not in the heat of the moment. Meaning you did not just tell him you don't want to do it and he's rolling over mad cuz he feels rejected. Thats when you gently explain to him that although you love making love to him...you happen to have a lesser sex drive than he does. Let him know that it is not enjoyable for you when are half awake and feeling over sexed. Let him know --hey this is not the "Cat House" and you are not Ron Jeremy!! I need you to slow these sexual rendevous down in number! Let him know you don't feel like you can handle it anymore. Next time give him an alternate time to pick that sex session back up...like say" i'm really tired tonight how about in the morning or tomorrow after dinner"? Say -- "I'm just not feeling it right now....wouldn't you rather do it when we both can enjoy it?? You make me feel like you only want me for sex."

Let me jump in and answer before all the women who's husband's/boyfriend's aren't breaking them off enough. It's obvious that you are in a relationship that is young, meaning you haven't been together very many years. The want never leaves but he won't always want it 3 times a day.

Start acting grumpy back to him when he gets all grump to you for not wanting it in the middle of the night.

Or if you want to boost his ego (which is the method I would suggest!), tell him you are kinda sore from the last go 'round and you need some time to heal. He'll love that answer and he'll go to sleep smiling!

Unfortunately there is no way to convince a guy that u don't want to have sex with him all the time without stirring up suspicion. This is what most guys want. (Sex all the time) Matter of fact most women do also. If u don't give it up u may just lose your amazing sexual partner.

You can't. There's no way not to dent a young mans ego.
A more mature man would take that as a compliment of having the sexual prowess to give you as much as you can handle, I know that sounds bad, so just ask him why he's taking offense to a compliment

Hope this helps holler if you need me

Well how long have you been with this guy? I mean, if it's been over a year, then, wow, he has a strong sex drive! He probably gets sexually frustrated when you say no so appears to be mad. But he really needs to respect your answer. Maybe invest in some good lube????

You have to be upfront and serious about it when your not in the mood. Don't be afraid he will break up with you, - If there is a real relationship there, he will stick by you, even if there is not much sex.

P.S. Philosophising on weed might be extremely fun and interesting, however it is usually a bad way to base your decisions on.

Try finding him an after hours girlfriend, someone to take up the slack. I'm sure he wouldn't mind that. And you could get some rest for a change.

Tell him to just give you a quicky instead of the long ones you should be able to handle a 2 minute quicky

He should respect and understand that when you say that you don't want to have sex you mean it. It seems awful that you have to lie about not feeling good so he can leave alone, trust me I've been there and it kind of works.

Its not your duty to service him whenever he feels like it. Its your body and if youre not in the mood youre not in the mood. If he cares about you he'll respect that.

Give him a Playboy and a packet of Kleenex for the times when you arent willing!
