anything that has been there for weeks deserves a medical check-up. A cold sore lasts a week or so. Oral Herpes is quite common and is not an STD unless it is a type 2.

There is a product called Abreva.You can get it at any drugstore over the counter.It's pricy,about $16.00 for a small tube,but it will dry up the coldsore in a few days.Stress causes coldsores.Relax.

well u said it was IN ur mouth so it sounds like u have Herpes Simplex 2 which is a STD, and u can get medication to control it, but you'll always have it.

tooth paste! it works, put it on, let it dry, then ice it, until its numb, then heat it, wipe off the tooth paste, then use some sort of medication like abreva right after. it works!
