delete it from c:/program files though. It keeps saying "Access denied, make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use" Well, it evidently uninstalled because its not in my add or remove programs but it didn't delete it's folder in my "Program files" The only program I know of that could be using it still is Microsoft Office 2003 email, so I uninstalled that and then tried deleting PANDA and it still won't let me. What can I do to delete it from my Program files? I think it is spyware or something! Every time I open my email, a box pops up saying, "Te add-in "C:\Program Files\Panda Internet Security 2007..."could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu" Well, I click ok and then my email still works normally, but I want that and the folder in program files deleted off my computer. I even tried System Restore and it didn't work either. What do I do? Thanks

To automatically uninstall the program instruction by Panda themselves

Download the file UNINST_v1012.exe (898 KB) by clicking here. http://www.pandasoftware.com/resources/sop/UNINST_v1012.exe
Save the file, to the Windows Desktop. Double click the item and run it then press Y to start the automatic uninstallation process.
This process could take a few minutes.
When the process completes, the message NEED REBOOT appears on screen.
Restart the computer to complete the uninstallation process.

NOTE: In Windows 2000/XP, the SMCLpav folder generated when running the file is automatically deleted when the uninstallation process completes. In Windows 9x, however, this folder must be deleted manually when the process is complete.

Run Start, Run, then type in REGEDIT. Go into the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then down to SOFTWARE. Find the package by name and then delete the registry key. If necessary, reboot in safe mode to delete the directory that wont let you delete in normal mode.

As long as the directory does not exist and the registry entry is removed, you should have few problems.

If you have never used REGEDIT before, I suggest you backup your registry first and/or let a knowledgeable friend assist.

first of all ur OS is not screwed or anything, and dont panic follow these simple steps.
1. install panda-anti virus again ( if u get an option in setup asking to remove/repair/modify components- click remove)
2. reboot and wen u get to ur destktop, exit all processes of panda, using the taks manager. (think u can exit panda by right clicking on its icon and selecting exit)
3. then try to remove it.
4. reboot and go ahead with ur life...
a small suggestion when u r selecting a security software, please do it after careful thinking and asking alot of people, and dont select crappy solutions like panda, go for better ones go for leaders like AVG, norton and mcafee. gud luck...

You might want to try finding those pieces of panda by doing a search on the C drive for "panda" and manually deleting them. I found this on their support page. http://www.pandasoftware.com/com/support/card?id=23210&idIdioma=2&pagina=1
