I had a baby 6 month ago, and my strech marks ae pretty bad and am only 20 , it's kinda sad but all worth it, i just want to be able to go to the beach and wear a two piece without worrying about the strech marks.. and does any one know about a procedure to get rid of it? perhaps cosmetic surgery?

Try coco butter or fade cream. It might take a while though.

I feel ya. My belly got so big with my son, between my stretch marks and stretched out skin I am sad to say that at 25, I think my bikini wearing days are over. As far as the stretch marks go, you can try the Palmer's Cocoa Butter cream, but not much really works. They do fade over time though, and get less noticeable. I also think they are less noticeable with a tan. A tummy tuck is pretty much the only cosmetic surgery to help, and I think that's more to do with the extra/saggy skin; although some say it helps with stretch marks. It's not really worth the money though, because it doesn't completely get rid of them and if you are going to have any more kids, they will just come right back with the next pregnancy. Supposedly, there is a new laser surgery that reduces the appearance of stretch marks, but I asked my dermatologist about it and she (also a new mom) said it's not really worth it. So, after much searching for a solution to this same problem, I have decided they are my new badges of honor and am currently searching for a cute tankini. Good luck with the baby!

You could say, to hell with what people think of my stomach, I'm glad to have my adorable baby and that's that!! But if you must, you could try Lydia O'leary's covermark if it's still available in stores. I hear stryvectin helps too. Cosmetic surgery as last resort - Then the surgeon could definitely help with stretching skin & tummy tuck but then you'd have to be in pain initially and who will give your baby motherly love and attention for a few weeks while you heal?
