Their is only one Faith, the distinction between religion is the product of human beings vain imagination. All monotheistic religons believe in one God and acknowledge the Prophethood of the messengers who lived before their main Prophet. As Jesus' message was beginning to be forgotten by the Christians, a new Revelation was needed, and the Prophet Muhammad had to honour of it. Many Christians and Jews in the Arab Peninsula accepted Muhammad as the Prophet they had been waiting for centuries to readorn God's revelation.

Since Islam did not even come into being until approximately 900 years after Jesus died on the cross and rose again....that would be quite impossible.

By the way, Islam denies both that Jesus is God's son, and that He died on a cross to save us. Therefore it has nothing to do with the biblical Jesus Christ.

No I cannot because Jesus lived in the 1st Century AD and Islam did not come around until the 6th Century AD, 500 years after His death.

Obviously Muslims took their teachings from the Jews and Christians.

Islam is the religion of Allah (or God in English..same thing)
It is the religion of the angels
it is the religion of all the prophets (Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Noah, Muhammad and many more)
It is the religion of Muslims.
It is the religion of peace, love, submission, tolerance, respect, kinship and life.

I don't care what anyone says... I love Islam and its what i believe.

Praise be to God
and
God Bless everyone

Islam was NEVER the religion of JESUS.JESUS followed the law of Moses and mohammed came 500 years AFTER CHRIST.The ONLY things they have in common are that both are monotheistic and Both point to Abraham as their ancestor.JESUS brought a new covenant in and it was not islam.Read the Bible , the 4 gospls and the book of acts. You will find it is not islam.

I know that Islam was originally what all prophets (PBUT) were, but the people and culture twisted thnigs around and corrupted everything so badly that nothing is left of what was the original. God had to send the Quran and His/Her promise to protect it because the former people just refused to listen to God. They called on Him/Her for help or in times of trouble, but went back to their usual ways once that hard time had passed.
