When I was younger I was afraid to die but the older I get and the longer I am A Christian it doesn't seem as Scary. I am in my 40's after 40 the body does start to feel old age. Some people even Christians I think are afraid of the unknown what they have not experience yet. Anyone not being a Christian better be afraid.......

I think dying to be exact. Death sounds past tense and finite. I am more curious about life after death. We all supposedly die anyway.Look into Remote Viewing the afterlife. Supposedly psychics make claims of contact with the dead or deceased.Whatever the description the fear of not knowing scares most people. There are those who look forward to an end to theirs or others suffering. To be fearing an end to pain and suffering isn't logical. But I can see how not being able to tell or contact the ones you left behind could be.

I am afaid of dying at my age... I am still 18 and I don’t know if people are afraid to die at this age... May be when I fulfill my duties in life.. Become a good mother and then a grandmother.. May be at that time I will be no more anxious about death..

No! I am not afraid of dying as I believe life is one big circle and it keeps going round and round so there is no end or beginning.
You only need to look at the Crucifixion of Christ, he was afraid of the pain but knew he had to go through this.
I believe its the fear of the unknown and what process we have to face, but hang on to the fact that life is also painful. So it cant get any worse.

Are you threatening me? You want a piece of me? Come on!

Just joking. Now seriously, I suppose everyone is someone afraid of death, not 100% certain of what is going to occur. However, love and faith, can overcome that fear so that we accept death as a part of life.

We are afraid of death from the very beginning of our lives, however we should be afraid of not the act of dying itself but instead of not being ready for that occurrence. We should inform ourselves how to prepare for dying and by doing so learn how to accept it for what it is: a natural process in the cycle of birth, disease, old age and death. Srimad Bhagavatam instructs how to prepare ourselves for death.

no.

Death is just the transition into the afterlife...If I suffer, I suffer - so what...won't it be worth it to see Jesus? I'm a Christian who has full peace of mind about all of this.

dying is just a part of living...the same as being born is.

I've heard some people mention they're scared of suffering/pain before they die... but then I thought:

Honestly, if a baby could remember it's birth --- don't ya think they'd be traumatized by it?? lol
*I don't see why death should be any different.

Why shouled one be afraid of something that is for sure. It is a fact and for sure you will die, the question is do you know what your next life will be? If one prepares for that and prepares for their eternal position then their will be nothing to be afraid of. Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupad. Go to harekrishnatemple.c for all details. chanting the Maha Mantra will end all fear of death.

Not really... I know I'm going to Heaven, and I know Heaven will be infinitely better than life on Earth...
I'm just afraid of dying before I ever get the chance to make a difference in someone's life...

I used to be because I didn't know what it was. Now I know from my study of the Bible that it means the opposite of life - non-existence. What is there to be afraid of in that.

Also, the Bible holds out the hope of a ressurection in the future Earthly paradise. This means that, when we fall asleep in ddeath, we will not notice the passing of time, and we will seem to wake again instantly onto that paradise earth.
