These are all good ideas.. here is something simple put the chicken in the pan with some chicken broth or even just water with some seasoning of choice and cover leave it there for about15 mins ck it just make sure that there is liquid in the pan give it another 15 min... as long as there is liquied in the pan and the pan is covered you will not have to worry about it burning and the chicken will be moist.. It will be somewhat plain but if you have potatoes and gravy you will not know the difference this is not boiling more like steaming the chicken will not be covered in liquid at any time.. It is tried and true at my house..

Preheat the element and to medium high, whilst seasoning you breasts, rub seasonings and oil on and place in pan skin side down.

Cook for about 10 minutes and turn. The skin should be really crispy but not burnt. Cook until any juices are clear. Remove from heat and let rest covered for one third of the cooking time.
In the meantime add in some butter and flour to the pan to make up some sauce with all the juices and seasonings and transfer to a gravy boat.

A useful gravy boat to look out for is one with a spout coming out the side near the bottom, like a teapot.
As you pour you will get all the good stuff and the fat will float on top. Sometimes called a fat separator. Go for glass or metal as most of the plastic ones don't like much heat and crack or craze

Do not use a fork to turn or to test for how well cooked it is as it will drain the juices leaving it dry and stringy.

It is very difficult to give an exact time as all cookers vary. It is really a question of trial and error until you know what suits you best.
Just make certain you do not under cook the breasts. there should be no pinkness. If it is a little undercooked nuke them for a minutes

Or you could marinade it in a teriyaki sauce, and pan fry it in olive or sesame seed oil.

I'd do it about 4-8 minutes on the stove, at medium-high, or until the juices run clear when you fork it. You want it tender and juicy, not dry and overcooked. The inside of the chicken when you cut it open should not be bloody or too pink, but a nice tender pink

or you could wrap it in bacon and put it in the stove at 350 degrees farenheit for half an hour on a grill to cook. Comes out incredibly juicy...

Or could you just rub a good spice like Montreal Steak Spice on the chicken and pan fry... Or try just plain salt (don't knock it, it's delicious)... with a squeeze of lemon after.

it depends on what you've got in your fridge... :)

You can grill it with a broiler: 1)marinate the breasts with whatever you want (leave for 30 minutes minimum) 2) turn on the burner 3) add a little oil 4) grill the chicken till cooked

If you like spicy, why don't you cut the chicken into strips, sprinkle it with cumin and chili powder and saute it with olive oil? Then serve with rice.
