I'd say the UK mostly. Their government is quite Left-leaning.

they are accepted equally in both nations! In the US (and that's a good thing) they are not allowed to be so pushy and stick their believes unto others as it is in the UK! some guy ( a lawyer)there openly said he wanted Sharia law for all of the UK , because Islam is the only true way! another said he would drink the blood of the enemies , those who are against Islam! well the first example is about as dumb as it gets! and the second is more like a terrorist threat! now I would like to see what would happen if those two chums would have said this in the united states! but if you peaceful then there is no problem either way!

by the way , in case those who can not stand the truth an will give me a thumbs down for speaking the truth , this was all on international TV CNN , Reuters and so on! the people making the above mentioned statement where interviewed on international TV, so give me a thumbs up for being truthful not down for annoying you with what is a reality!

As a Brit I would like to say that people of other cultures are on the whole accepted and welcomed. Whether they are muslims, buddhists or whatever.

That said however liken in the rest of Europe 'Islam' is certainly not flavour of the month. There are continual negative media reports about Islamic practices from stories about cab drivers refusing blind people entry to their cars due to having guide dogs to women English teachers being suspended from schools for deciding to start wearing the niqab and their students not being able to understand them.

Some of it is justifiable criticism and debate about the role of a restrictive religion in a modern secular country (attitudes to women etc) and some of it is thinly disguised racism.

Its actually only recently that weve been allowed to talk about Islam and immigration as previously any tv show or newspaper that even tried to highlight a problem would have been condemned as racist and censured, so hopefully this is just an adjustment.

I've never been to UK, but I've had no serious trouble with acceptance here in the US.
