Losing that amount of weight in that short of a time is not only nearly impossible but very dangerous too.
starving urself wont work b/c when ur body notices that ur not taking in the usual amount of calories or any at all it goes into survival mode and it will hold on to the food u do take in and store it as fat.
diets, pills and programs can work for some people but not for all. really depends on how much they want to lose and the amount of time.
i would go to the doctor and have the stomach staple technique. b/c that seems to be the most effective way to lose weight. but even with that technique losing 100 lbs in a 2-3 month span isnt feasible. but losing 100 lbs by june/july 08' w/ this procedure could be done. usually this process is used by people obesely fat or are rich and vein enuff to et it done.
to lose the weight healthily, u should research good foods for u to eat and an exercise program...possible hire a trainer. this process may take longer than the time frame u want , can be very expensive and is not guaranteed to work for u specifically but if u get the right people behind u to help u achieve ur goal u'll not only feel good about losing the weight, but that u actually worked hard to accomplish it. (which is something u dont necessarily do when u get the surgery thing done....since it takes care of itself).
good luck!

Well, I am quite sure if it were that easy no one would be overweight. But, honestly you will be setting yourself up for major disappointment and possibly health problems losing this much weight in such a short time span. Our bodies are not made to lose weight this quickly. You will also at some point experience plateaus no matter how much you exercise or how many calories you cut. It will take true motivation to work through this frustration. I have been there and fell off track.
The best way to do this is to set mini goals (normally 10-15% of your beginning weight) and work toward those. I have found that the Jenny Craig website has a tracker program that works really well and helps you visualize your goal. Once you meet the first goal move onto achieving goal number two. Best of luck to you and remember to not give up, we are all human.

Gastro! When you get the answer contact me because I need to loose it that fast too! Thats 30 pounds a month not impossible but is that safe? Janet Jackson lost 60 in three months, but she had a trainer and a cook! You are going to have to work out atleast 2 hours a day everyday until July and eat only 1000 to 1200 calories a day, a gallon of water per day, no soda not even diet because it makes you bloat. Every chance you can to add activity! I will do it with you.... vitimins suppliments like ensure, fat burners too lots of veggies take herbal cleanes every two weeks. I have lost 40 pounds in 2months doing simular things, so 20 a month is fast, but it still can be done. This is March so I would say you can do 80 pounds pretty safe, but if you dont start maintaining a healthy diet afterwards it will come back!

That's a little unrealistic and you are setting your self up for failure. Try for June or July of next year. I know its a long time but you were this big last year, if you had started last year you could be in that swimsuit. Eating right and exercise is the only way. If you don't exercise it will be hard to loose weight and/ or take much longer. So join a sports team or choose an activity that is fun so you will keep doing it. Try rollerskating.

It might not be safe to lose such a large amount in just a few months... I'd try aiming for about 20 or 30 this year, and then working hard to lose weight for next swimsuit season...
Good ways to lose weight are to take stairs when you can rather than the elevator. You can also get some friends and walk to a near by store.
Also, a healthy diet would help. Try cutting back on the junk food and go for healthier options, such as fresh fruit. You might even find you'd rather eat those...
Whatever you choose to do, I wish you luck!

Lose the weight gradually through lifestyle changes (Eating & Exercise). Why not set a reasonable goal to fit into a swimsuit which would flatter your figure at a weight of perhaps 20 or 30 lbs lighter by the summer. After the summer, suits go on sale and you can reward yourself with smaller, figure-flattering suits throughout the next year.
The last time I recall going to the beach, there were people of all shapes and sizes- no supermodels (besides my wife!).
It is great to set healthy weight loss goals, but it is equally important to love yourself right now! Jesus does.
This also depends on how tall you are, your frame, and current weight. You may not need to lose 100 lbs.
I would obtain a healthy weight chart from a trusted health source and see what weight is healthy for your height and frame.

20 pounds a week is not practical. However, if you want to lose as much weight as possible in a healthy way, here is some good advice. Eat as many nutritionally dense foods as possible. The body needs nutrients in order to lose weight. Drink as 10-12 glasses of spring water a day. If it is not pure water....DON"T drink it! Don't even drink diet drinks. Get onto a basic exercise routine. Walk at a slow pace for a week or so and gradaully start inot a light jog. Do basic strength training by doing situps, crunches, and tricep dips at home. If you go on a crash diet you will only gain the weight back quickly. Start off with smaller changes and you can keep the weight off for a much longer period of time. Most of all, BELIEVE in yourself! Best wishes... not luck. This does not require luck, it requires conscious decisions. You can do it!

That's a stupid question. Did you never care about your weight/looks before? If you lost 100 pounds, how much would you weigh?
Anyway, my friend dropped 60 pounds in 3 months - ruined her health but she did it - an apple a day and unlimited amounts of diet pepsi.
Another unhealthy but effective weight loss method is the popcorn and diet soda diet - porcorn helps you feel full (get the healthy pop stuff - 94% fat free or something) without eating much.
My friend gave up his never ending M&M obsession, and the other one switched from regular soda to diet soda. Little changes can make a big difference in the long run.

That would mean losing 20-25 lbs a month and there really is no healthy way to do that. Make your goal more realistic- like lose 30lbs by summer. If you set unrealistic goals, you will just disappoint yourself. Also when losing such a substantial amount of weight, you should really be under a doctor's supervision so make an appointment to see him/her and discuss your diet and exercise plans and shortterm and longterm goals.

You should try to lose weight slowly. It's better for your body and you will be much more likely to keep the weight off. A good friend of mine was very overweight. She just started eating smaller portions, no red meat and exercised 30 minutes to an hour and a half everyday. she lost 110lbs in about a year and two months. So, it'll take time. but It's worth it to get you in shape, healthy and happy. good luck! =]
