Your local dealer (reputable dealer that is) should be able to find you what you need. There are a good number of .22's out there that you should be able to find for a smaller ticket price. Unless you have your heart set on a PPK. Browning makes the Buckmark and mine is awsome reliable. Ruger has the Single Six which has interchangeable cylinders for .22 long and .22 mag. The list goes on and on but the first place to start is the gun shop.

In years past, Walther manufactured both the PP and PPK versions in .22 long rifle, as well as .25ACP, .32ACP(7,62mm), and .380ACP(9mmK).

Regrettably, these excellent pocket autos have become almost impossible to find at any reasonable price. In fact their prices border on the obscene. My own 9mmK PPK/S that I bought used for $150 in the early '70's, I have turned down over $500 offers recently.
Anyone wanting this proven design have been forced to settle for the second rate Bersa, or East European clones, or go elsewhere. Said Bersa and other clones don't come close to the Walther in quality.(In fact, I know one snapperhead that almost blew his toes off using the decocking function on a Bersa, trying to imitate a PPK!)

If one desires the high quality of Walther Waffenfabrik in a .22 auto pistol, one would be wise to look into their new line of polymer-framed P.22 autos, most excellent weapons at very reasonable prices. For models and availablity, run a search on the GunBroker.com website.

Yes. The earlier model PP (made 1929-1949) and the PPK (made post war to still made) could be had in .22 lr, .25 acp, .32 acp, and .380 acp (9mm corto, Kurz, and Short same thing). So can the Walther PPK/S (PPK with the larger PP frame).

A Walthers PPK? I'm not sure it was ever chambered in .22 caliber. The most common chambering Stateside is the .380 acp. The most common overseas is the .32 auto. Some rare models were chambered for .25 acp, but I'm not sure about .22, since .22s are rimfires.

If you must have a Walters .22 consider the newer Walters P-22. I have one with fitted laser sight and it is quite nice.

Hope that helped.
