The dentist I work for says :
". . .anything that has fluoride in it, and
has a taste you like so you will use it".
I know there is recent controvery about flouride,
but from personal experience working at a
pediatric dental office, a good majority of children
we see from other countries that do not have regular
flouride have an entire mouthful of cavities. I'm not talking
about 3-4 cavities, I'm talking about kids as young as 3 years
old having as many as 10-15 of their 20 teeth with
cavities!
The benefits of flouride outweigh the risks by a huge margin.

I find that for good strong teeth, any toothpaste that DOES NOT contain Sodium Fluoride is good. Yes this does contradict what your dentist of the ADA might say, but there is to much evidence that points to Fluoride as doing more harm than good to teeth.

I recently started using Aquafresh Extreme Clean. My teeth always feel clean, and when I wake up, I don't have a yucky taste in my mouth like the old toothpaste I used.

Crest Pro Health. It protects against a lot of stuff like gingivitis, cavities, sensitivity, plaque, tartar buildup, and stains. It also freshens your breath. My hygienist has seen a dramatic increase in my oral health since I've been using it. She was quite impressed.

BreathRx is a really good brand and I use it. Its a little pricey, but definitely worth the money. Here's a link to read up about it.
