Hi!
There is an absolutely beautiful song written by Johannes Brahms called "Geistliche Wiegenlied" ( the holy cradle song), for mezzo soprano, viola, and piano .... it is in German and just too too beautiful for words ....(part of Zwei Gesange per contralto, viola obbligata e pianoforte which translates as Two Songs for Contralto, Viola and Piano,..... it is Opus 91)
Also there is the "Wiegenlied" ... a cradle song also, that starts, "Guten Abend, Gut Nacht..."
(Lullaby and Good Night ...)~~~ also by Johannes Brahms.... for voice and piano
If you would like larger pieces of music, there is the Durufle Requiem by Maurice Durufle, the French composer ...... a very beautiful piece - for choir and orchestra
also the Faure Requiem by Gabriel Faure, also French composer..beautiful also .....for choir and orchestra
Peace & Love

If you are looking for a beautiful song. Oh Come, oh Come, Emanuel. (a song of hope) or.. And The Trees Do Moan (quiet gentle story telling) or... The Lord's Prayer (protestant version). or.. The Birthday Of a King is a great song. Lots of joyful bursts of emotion. Ave Maria is too morbid for me. forgive me mr. shubert.

I could be wrong, but Highway to Hell, by AC/DC. While not a Christians song, it is a religious song for those who follow Satan. Hence a religious song. So back off Christian mafia.
