The noise is only while driving and goes away when I turn to either direction or while idling or under more than average acceleration. I am 99% sure it is not a CV joint noise or an engine noise. I read somewhere that the Camry will develop a suspension noise after awhile. Is this the case? Has anyone experienced a similar noise? I did a visual inspection and found nothing loose and I tried to duplicate the noise while idling but to no avail. I pushed down on the front end to see if I could create the noise while idling but nothing. The car runs great and there are no performance issues or handling issues. Can someone help?

I have a 99 Solara, there is a noise which occurs when I first start it up, and it comes from the passenger side seat area,it goes away once the engine warms up.I don't know if this helps,I have checked in that area but can't find anything.

i had a corolla that developed a rattling noise while driving.. there is a metal plate under the car by the front tires that came loose on my car and just needed to be tightened.... put your car up on ramps and take a look under and see if you have the metal plates too...

You may have a loose engine component e.g. like the air cleaner or some other component that is encased but my bet is the former

It sounds like your heat shield is a bit loose. If that's what is, it can be soddered on for a small fee.
