Within the martial art of capoiera, from Brazil, have there been any well known international caporiestas {capoiera fighters} within the last 100 years?

I'm sure there have in the world of capoeira. Unfortunately, it's fighters don't seem to get much attention outside of that (at least not pure capoeristas).
