You can't do anything. He must be the one to realize his ethnicity and his wonderful heritage. Noone should be ashamed of who/where/what they are from. You don't have the problem dear..just him..once he accepts who/what/where etc. then and only then will things change. And he may never accept this..there must be some underlying reason/cause for him not to want to be what he is...No one "culture" is any better than the other..it's just that circumstances in some countries make one feel "inferior" so to say..and that SHOULD not be the case..He needs to seek counseling...IF you can get him to go...Good Luck.

Leave him alone. Thats racist. Just because he was born with a particular skin color doesn't mean he has to be stuck with that culture for the rest of his life. Heck, I'm american and white as snow but I am really fond of hindu and chinese culture. Of course I don't pretend to be either but you get the idea.

what culture does he pretend to be, if it's black don't worry from what I can tell about 85% of the population wishes they were black. As for me my mother is 100% italian , my father is 100% italian and as far as I am concerned that makes me 100% AMERICAN, especially since there are very brave men and woman fighting for my freedom as we speak.
