TRUTH ALWAYS WORKS. YES SHE WILL BE HURT BUT IT IS BETTER TO VERY KINDLY AND POLITELY TELL HER THE TRUTH THEN END CONTACT WITH HER SO IT DON'T DRAG OUT. IF SHE ASKS QUESTIONS ANSWER THEM HONESTLY.
YOU MIGHT NEED TO TELL HER FAMILY SO THEY CAN HELP HER CONCERNING HER DEPRESSION. I
F SHE DOES NOT HAVE FRIENDS OR FAMILY DON'T LET THAT KEEP YOU WITH SOMEONE YOU DON'T HAVE TRUE FEELINGS FOR.

I think it would be unfair of you to do anything but break up w/ her. She deserves the truth and so do you. If she suffers from depression, tell her that she needs to find help, but explain to her that's not the reason you are breaking it off, it's that your feelings have changed. It's not going to be easy, but in the long run you will both be better off.

Well, I was just dumped by my b/f and he didn't even have the balls to tell me. The best thing to do is to tell her, and find some way to "keep and eye on her". When someone is depressed, and their heart is thrown away, they may try to do something drastic. Tell her, because she deserves to know, but make sure that she stays safe!
Good luck, and I don't envy you at all. Your g/f is going to be really upseat!

You know you cannot stay with her just because she suffers from depression. You need to just be honest with her and tell her you just don't have any feelings for her. You could tell her that you don't want to be unfair to her by staying with her if you don't have feelings for her. Tell her that you don't want to continue to waste her life by being with her when you know it's not for real. Honesty is the best thing. Don't be unhappy just to keep her from becoming more depressed. Life is to short. Besides she will get over it. The longer you wait the harder it will get.

You just have to be honest with her. Let her know that there are no more feelings there and that it is time for both of you to move on. I wouldn't want to be with someone that had no feelings for me. So even though it would be hard, I would be glad that they were honest instead of staying longer and making it that much harder.
Honesty is always the best route! Good luck.

A person who can't spell depression cannot be bright enough to choose between good advice and bad here. That's what I think.
Admit it: all aspects of your life are a mess anyway. Right?

Be honest and talk to her about how you feel. Then deal with that. You may be the cause of her depression. Could you handle that?
