Obviously. The politically correct movie industry gave Al Gore's movie an Oscar for Best Documentary. It should have won a Oscar for Best Distortion of Science in a Work of Fiction.
There is as many reputable scientists defending global warming as there are defending astrology.

yes we are
Mr. Gore says all this crap about how global warming is made all by man
he says its a proven fact
this is NOT the fact
global warming is probably happening (although not proven) but most of it is due to natrual causes (one volcanoe eruption can put more CFC's into the atmosphere then all humans can in a year)
the only fact around here is that this man doesnt know what he's talking about
and he blew this THEORY of globabl warming WAY out of proportion
by the way, Al Gore happens to be my next door neighboor (in Nashville, TN)
he lives in what we call his "white house"
he drives range rovers and if he's so concerned about the enviorment, why doesn't he tear down his 10, 000 sq ft house and plant some trees...
you can call me overly conservative but i call myself smart and educated
you guys are listening to al gore (hes not a bad man; he just doesnt really know what he's talking about)
if somebody can tell me where mr al got his proof of global warming, i will completely re-evaluate the situation.
remember- al gore man who claims to have invented the internet

Al Gore is not important. If you think he is, you're not thinking seriously.
Al Gore has nothing at all to do with the science behind global warming. He is in no way responsible for any of the solid data about global warming. He is not singlehandedly causing global warming. He's just an actor.
And his message is backed by 99+% of all scientists. They may disagree on some of the details, but not on the basic message. Global warming is real, it's not natural, it's caused by us. And it is a serious threat to our country.
Here's some solid information about the basic scientific agreement on global warming and just a little of the data underlying it.

Not from some environmental extremists, but from the most respected scientific organizations in the world. Practically every scientific organization publicly supports the reality of global warming.
Talking about Al Gore in the face of the threat is silly. The people quoted below are hardly fans of Al Gore, but they don't make that mistake. They don't get their information from "An Inconvenient Truth", they get it from the best scientists in the world. None of these people are fools, or environmental crazies. You may not respect them all, but surely you respect some.
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
"The overwhelming majority of atmospheric scientists around the world and our own National Academy of Sciences are in essential agreement on the facts of global warming and the significant contribution of human activity to that trend."
Russell E. Train, Republican, former environmental official under Presidents Nixon and Ford
"We simply must do everything we can in our power to slow down global warming before it is too late. The science is clear. The global warming debate is over."
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican, Governor, California
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
John McCain, Republican, Senator, Arizona
"These technologies will help us become better stewards of the environment - and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change."
President George Bush
These "questions" have nothing at all to do with science. They are simply political statements which properly belong in the politics section.

No you completely misunderstand. These rules only apply to us - the serfs and peons. The enlightened class does not have to stoop to our level. In fact we should bow down before them and thank them for saving us from global warming by taking away our freedoms and prosperity.

NO. we are getting "hoodwinked" by satan. He uses people as tools for his purpose. satan gets us looking at our fellow man and is allowed to run around free to play havoc with our lives. That's why GOD says " Keep your eyes on CHRIST,""The truth, the way and the life." and "Put your trust in GOD." GOD says pray for those in authority, that they will make wise choices. If we are not praying for them then what right do we have to judge them?
