I have had these symptoms for the past couple of days: Waking up feeling completely exhausted, having trouble falling asleep, almost falling asleep during the day, feeling completely awful 24/7, and an irritable mood.

About two weeks ago I had this strange sickness where I was constantly tired and it felt like there was a needle in my throat, but it faded away after a few days. These past few days I have been indulging in sweets, cookies, and most of all, sugar free trident watermelon gum. I feel completely horrible all day long. At one point I asked my martial arts friend if she knew how to make me faint, who said yes, but also said it was too dangerous and stupid.

What in the world is wrong with me?

I drink plenty of water and I gave up sweets and junk food a few months ago, but for the past few days I have been indulging.

I also had this weird night when I woke up in the middle of the night, and I felt fantastic! Better than I had in days. I went back to sleep, and woke up at 5, again, feeling fantastic, except I woke up an hour and a half earlier than I usually do. I got on the bus to school, and I completely crashed! I just couldn't stay awake at all.

I want to take a break for a few days, but my schedule is just too busy to take a break for a few days.

To me being the mother of 4 children at 35 , i get the same feeling of complete tiredness and i dont know about the needle feeling in the throat but i think maybe you have somwe sleep disorder , imsomia but i tell you what you need to go to the doctor and get a check up because school and your other activities are not going to be to important if you die from something that was treatable and i think your symtoms are worth a trip to the doctor because your life is so much important than any school work or activity that you might have , go to the doctor ok and get a complete checkup you will thank yourself later and hey you might find out that it was something simple , i would rather be safe than sorry ! good luck

It could be medical or emotional.

Are you feeling depressed about anything? Do you have more stress at home or school than usual? Problems with friends, boyfriend ect...? If so what you could be feeling is depression. It would make sense with the super highs and the really low lows.

Medical things, I have no idea - There are so many things it could be.

I would suggest that either way you talk to your parents or see a doctor soon. If you do not feel well than you should not let it go.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

As a healthcare provider I's say go to your provider's office fasting (nothing but water past midnight) so some basic bloodwork can be done which would include blood sugar and thyroid tests. It would be the best start.

I can honestly tell you to go check it out at the doctor's. You never know what is could be and the sooner you get it checked out, the better you will feel faster. Good luck!

Could be anything from mono to Lyme disease, your symptoms need to be analyzed by a doctor. Might not be a bad idea to see a medical professional.
