Well yes, of course.
For SOME people (not all), their actions would drastically change if their views changed on mortality/immortality and what will happen to them after they die.
As evidence, search for questions that pertain to the meaning of life, but are directed towards atheists. Many many many Christians cannot conceive of behaving in a moral way or even of living at all if they didn't believe that they will exist eternally after death and that the qualify of their afterlife would be determined by how they behave here during their mortal life.

people i think are not influenced by the future, most are not future oriented. they focus on the past and what has happened before. they don't know the future and you can't act on something you don't know yet.
children are influenced by their past. if a child was abused and identified with the abuser then he would become abusive. if a child was raised by rich snooty people, he would internalize this usually and then become snooty in the future. if a child was stung by bees he'll probably have a fear of bees in the future and maybe forever.
so it's the past that influences us and our actions brcause of what we encountered. we don't know the future and can't act around it because of that fact. i hope this snswered ur question

yes a persons actions shows there heart and character and is influenced because out of the heart the mouth speaks we are in this world though not of it,but we have to be diligent because satan is as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour in living in the world and satan being ruler of the earth we have to be soldiers for Christ

They sure are.
If a person feels that they are going no where in life and the future looks bleak to them,(foreclosures, bankruptcy) they may not care what happens to themselves or any one around them.
Seen it happen.

A person's actions are due to 'past' actions ('past' in quotes since it is debatable what this means). Their 'past' actions have defined their world for them.
This is as true for cognitive action as it is for physical action.

Yes.
Proverbs 23:7-For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
