I think there are mixed signals. The hug and the text message seem good signs. But if over the msn he acts distant, it's strange. Then again, you are right, you can't read emotion through there, some guys are on there but don't actually like to chat. They are just weird like that. Maybe it would be a good idea to stay offline for a while. Have him wonder what you're up to, so maybe he'll call and ask you out again.

Well, if he met you in person after chatting online with you and gave you a hug, then fine that could have been just a normal hug.
You text him to say thanks, meaning you kinda like him too.
Well, if he didnt text back no big deal, but he did and he said he wanted to meet up with you again. So I think he might also like you somehow.
But hey take things slow, maybe you should try to keep your distance for a little while as you were saying.
You should find out more about him or get to know him better before you allow your emotions to run wild.
He might be committed to someone or something and you might not know.
if you really like him, you can meet him again, but maybe with a friend or some friends, just to be on the safe side.
Good luck with your friend.

I have a similar problem - I've been seeing this bloke for two months but he doesn't text or phone me for days sometimes which is really frustrating! Men have a completely different perspective on time and relationships tho and think completely the opposite to women. I think it's a good sign that he hugged you and text you back but blokes just need space to sort themselves out and decide what to do next. Us women analyse things and think to much instead of just excepting it and then doing something else. Try not to seem so needy/all into him and he'll come running. If in doubt i suggest you read John Gray - Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and youl soon realise whats going on.
Good luck, i hope it all works out for you.

This happened to my girlfriend. I met her via online and from the very start she fell in love with me. She told me it felt like years instead of days. Somehow she managed to let me do all the driving in the relationship, and after awhile in I was really falling for her.
Its hard to do, but don't overreact, hold your ground, keep looking around for other guys. You may like this one now, but there is always a better model somewhere else. Let the social setting of relationships take it course, and before you know it, you will be saying, "I love you"

Don't play games - if you want to see him, then go for it. Text him back (not immediately). If it doesn't work out, chalk it up to a lesson. BUT at least you went after something you wanted.
=)
p.s. He sounds a bit shy, maybe he has the same doubts you do.

er. dont be persistant.
that just makes you look desperate.
and YES!!!! it REALLY IS a waste of time and effort!!!! just face the fact that you are going to die alone. that is the solution to all problems.
that or hire a private detective to follow him and see what he's doing....

The options of the Founders on the suitable position of authorities contained in the lives of a loose human beings are recorded. We call it the structure. contained in the reason of liberty, they were very careful now to not provide the means of naming rights to a properly-beloved lawmaking majority. administration of the structure that created the Constitutional Republic of States we call u . s . of u . s . (and administration of the authorities they created) continues to be contained in the palms of the states. Newly conceived rights might want to correctly be debated and legislated yet until eventually a minimum of 38 states conform to it and language is further to the structure to make it a suitable constitutionally secure correct, that new "correct" is situation to being merely legislated out by a distinct accepted lawmaking majority. you note, to characteristic a correct interior one in each of those an change to the structure is to eliminate it from the component of politics and ascertain that it's not depending upon the outcome of any election. in my opinion, after 218 years, i might want to be very interested in listening to from them on what might want to be finished to develop the "chains" they initially used to tie down the authorities, to keep it from causing damage. What damage? Being thoroughly effective in consolidating 50 states into one enormous state with one enormous authorities that owes one enormous debt to be paid by human beings as yet unborn and having no say in how their money is being spent.

Call him on the phone and talk to him. Ask him the questions that are on your mind, but it sounds to me like he may like you and it scares him. Don't pressure him into anything, just call, talk, and ask the questions that you have on your mind.
