I seen the soul represented by the mind, will and emotions.(personality)

I wonder if it's really the soul that builds character? Some say this is the emotion of the heart. Jesus used to say it's what's in your heart. Which emotions are most likely to lead your life? Does the logic of the mind disregard emotions? Perhaps the mind represents the balance of all things and emotions or the CPU? Are you a spiritually motivated person or a materially motivated person?Think of the mind as a balance used to weigh things out physically and emotionally. The soul or the spirit of the person can guide the mind. Some even say that the soul and the spirit are different. That the spirit leaves the body and the soul was what kept the person alive as in their physical presence. If a person is said to become brain dead this doesn't mean their spirit is also.A person can be artificially kept alive by an artificial soul or presence. Some will say they are caught between life and death. But many have mentioned an out of body experience or life after death while the physical body was dying or briefly died and released them for a short time. In a way they are all one while we are alive. It's like separating the software from the hardware and the soul being the backup battery that holds them together. One day science may prove beyond doubt and we will obtain immortality whether we like it or not. What good than is immortality if only to be in servitude or slavery forever?

We are a living soul. We have a functioning mind because we have a very intricate brain. Without the brain we would cease to be able to think, feel or animate, we would be dead. All of our thoughts and feelings and emotions are possible because of the way our brain functions. We are humans, we are physical. God created the earth for us. The heavens he created for spirit creatures, they do not need the physical earth to survive. God does not need more spirit creatures. If he did he would just create more spirit creatures. We are a different creation and are blessed to have the life that God gave us here.

SOUL: a person or the life of that person...
Genesis 2:7: "And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul"

even animals are considered living souls...

Genesis 1:20: "20 And God went on to say: “Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls and let flying creatures fly over the earth upon the face of the expanse of the heavens.”

We Are a spirit, we Have a soul and we live in a body. The Spirit is the deepest part of you. It is your very being, your personality. When people die, their spirit leaves their body with their soul. It is just the physical body that dies. Your body cannot live without your spirit but your spirit can live without your body... The soul is the mind, will and emotions. It is your intellect and thinking process. Everyone has a spirit and soul whether they believe it or not. There is someone in them peering out of those eyelashes. So yes, the mind is in the soul realm. Many people even Christians do not know or understand this.

The question is incomplete because the definition of affection is variable. to some it truly is a trifling emotional reaction in line with familiarity and fervour, for others it truly is synonymous with suitable-ness. If doing, being, residing in this "suitable" is the outline of affection then the more suitable conscious the expertise the more suitable the look love. besides the undeniable fact that, to apply the note love in this context is deceptive and may reason some very incorrect judgements or worse incorrect conclusions which could lead on to a significantly better myth than the only many are looking for to flee. damage out as a motivation will carry about deluded consequences yet a good subtler motivation turning out to be in route of the ordinary of a defective end could properly be even worse. contained in the top myth is myth, yet in concerns of deep spirituality words may reason never-ending biblical controversy even as used gently or in different words even as used with inadequate expertise.

I think the "soul" encompasses our thoughts and emotions. Our mind is simply how we think.
It's a great thing to understand the difference between body, soul, and spirit. We have all three (kinda like God: The Father (soul), the Son (the body), and the spirit (Holy Spirit)) and all three play a different roll.

Great question!

The soul is our consciousness & link to the mental plane- the plane where thoughts are formed. On can exist sanely without the soul but not without the mind.

Not even close. The mind is extreemly corrupt. Your mind is the thing telling you to "be like everyone else" but your soul and your heart are the things that keep your morality and your relationship with God.

I have no clue what a soul is. I've never ever, not ONCE, had it explained to me in a coherent way. Why on earth should I care about this "soul" if they can't even adequately describe to me what it is??

Soul is a religious concept. Therefore it is not the mind.
