my female looks bigger than my male but i really dont think she is overweight my female is just over 2yrs old and my male is just over 1yr old he is still very boistorous and still has alot of puppy behavior going on

The miniature should be 4.5 kg. or 9-10lbs. The standard should be 6.5.- 11.5kg. or 15-25lbs. The females should be at the lower end of this scale and the males at the higher end of the scale.

Check the American Kennel Club website for the weight that is ideal for Dashunds, both male and female. I have included the link to the page in my source section.

Your vet is the best source for this answer. Since they know the exact size and current weight of your dog.

Ideal weight is 10lb. Should not weigh over 11lb

take puppys/ dogs to the vet. they will weigh it for free. you cant guess the dogs weight by looking at it?

i have never had a daschund but i know them very well and i would guess 8/10 kilos
