I am currently using abreva, before abreva I was using carmex, I started applying the abreva last night around 6pm is there any chance at all that my cold sore could get a little cleard up by 4 pm today? If not how long will it take for results to show?

the trick is to use the abreva before you get a full blown blister. It is quite a miracle for my little girl. It can stop the blister from popping up altogether since she can recognize the symptoms very early. She is only 6 yrs. But if the blister pops out before using abreva, it certainly clears it up much faster than anything else. Camphphenique works well if it's a big one, in conjunction with abreva.

In other words, if it was barely there, it could be gone very soon.

I have used Lysine, some 20 years ago and we use corn in our diet, I have not had a cold sore in over 20 Years. Lysine is available at the health food stores, and corn as in creamed canned corn corn on the cob and Popcorn, all are good in your diet, and you should not be getting any more cold sores. something called Carmex it works better , its been around a while.
