Im shy and need some help...?

im 13 and i want to kiss my gf for the first time. The thing is, though, that im really shy and its going to be hard. I was looking for some tips such as where it should be, when, etc. weve been going out for a lil over 2 months and i really love her. any helpful advice is appreciated.
