i am a sissy. i have my nose and belly.

Its not that bad, the worst part is the clamp. My nose hurt a lot worse, the only thing that was bad was the swelling. It went down after a day but it was really sensitive and hard to eat, but it gives you an excuse to eat ice cream all day! If you get it done rinse your mouth with original Listerine after you eat and when you brush, it really speeds up the healing.

I have had my tongue pierced twice, along with my eyebrow, nose, lip, and ears many time (including tragus). If I had to honestly rate my tongue, I would say everything but my lip hurt worse, especially my nose. The first time it hurt more, but it is because it was too far forward, so be cautious of that.

Also, your tongue will swell, but you should be able to eat by lunch time, because it is the worst when you first wake up. After care isn't too hard because its mostly listerine rinsing, but you will get all of your aftercare instructions from your piercer.

So, I say go for it, the pain is certainly tolerable.

ok here goes i got my tongue pierced it didnt hurt when i got it done but the 4 days afterwards was the worst 4 days of my life i couldnt eat drink or talk i didnt eat for 4 days i lost hella weight from it my tongue got so swelled it was horrbile for 2 weeks i had to wash my mouth out with mouth wash after everything u eat and drink i would never get my tongue pierced ever again and i wouldnt recomend it to anyone but then again all people are different my sister got hers done and she was totally fine the next day i have had mine for almost 3 years now but i wish u luck and i hope i didnt scare u out of getting it done cause i love mine now and so does my boyfriend!!!

That's a good question. my bro-in-law's sister had it done. she had her eyebrow, nose, tongue, belly button, and many ear piercings done and she said that the nose hurt the worse. so if you have already had your nose pierced then, i wouldn't expect it to hurt that bad compared to the nose. she also said she had to like relearn how to eat again, and for the first week she could only eat like soup and mashed up stuff. i want to get mine done too. good luck!

Well i dont have it, but i saw my friend get it done..and she said that it didnt hurt too much but she almost had a tear roll down her cheek, and she was shaking alittle...i also heard that the first couple of days after u get it done it hurts but after it heals(probably the most would be a month), it is all worth it so ive been told)........

well i dont have my tounge pieced but my cuzins friend Joe got his pieced a few years ago. and he said he was in alot of pain while gettin it done and ALOT after it was done. i saw him the day after he got it done and he couldnt eat whole food so he had 2 drink milk shakes and stuff (which i had fun with it cuz i sat next 2 him with some brownies and said "omg joe these brownies are so good to bad you cant have any" lol.. hes funny , but anyways then that day he tried taking it out cuz he decided he didnt want it anymore and he couldnt get it out and his tounge started 2 bleed.. so if u ask me i wouldnt get it done

It hurts like hell i couldn't eat for two days my tongue was swollen it was a painful experience
