Try pulling a cube out of one of your orifices and see what it feels like. I'll bet chickens are happy with round eggs.

Oval, egg-like, is the shape of the Earth, strictly round or oval is the form of most celestial bodies, sun, moon; round or oval is your head, your eyes, your balls (testicles), round also are cannon balls, and sort of round also are piercing heads and most smashing bombs; round or oval are most seed-bearing fruits on Earth; round or oval are many things that may rotate near and far in the Universe. For things to rotate in the way rotation goes it may be necessary that they are sort of round-like.

It seems that good old Almighty God may not have succeeded in making cube-shaped eggs, as He may have had a limitation here - as He could not make cubes roll, on sort of their own, as easily as He may have wanted them to roll on their own without Him directly casting them as He would have to do with cube-shaped dice.

Because eggs and fruits must kind of roll in order to fall downwards unto some soil or unto some protecting place so they may find the nest-like receptacle from where to germinate in the form of missiles protended towards the sun above, towards heaven.

They wouldn't have come out as easily. Can you imagine if babies were square? If God had designed them, they'd be square. Only nature could produce something as perfect as an egg.

They would be hard (and painful) to lay. The oval shaped eggs are perfectly streamlined to gradually increase in diameter, rather than just one sudden stretch. Plus, there are no sharp edges, which reduces cuts and discomfort.

This would be too painful for the hen to lay. I do not think designing is your field of expertise.

Because the installers in the field would have complained about the sharp edges.

Maybe because those might be a little painful for animals to pop out?
