Is it me, or do Christians and other faiths talk about God, like he is a man. A person a head of the universe, spirit world, who knows what else. Who sits on a throne and judges people? Is that what religion thinks??????
People talk about God like a person, with children, like a human.. I don't think we have any idea, concept of what God is.

I really think we have a false concept of God. I think God is every where. A powerful devine force in the endless universe and time. In the endless, timless realms of Spirit.. A power, a light. A force, life.
People talk about God, like he is a person, Does religion under estimate what God is? .
What do you think?

Just a thought. But if the spirit of a person never die's. That would mean we where in the Spirit world, before we came here. because our spirit had to come from somewhere, apart from the spark in our dad's eyes. Then after our time, we go back.

I think you are right on. Modern Christianity has a very limited, effeminate view of God. While I still understand Him through scripture, I do my best not to limit my understanding of who He is.

As far as the spirit is concerned, again, I think you are on to something in that we were before, are now, and will continue to be. The natural selves that we see now is temporary, but still of great purpose. Discovering what that purpose is requires being reconciled to God through His Son and embracing the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
The spirit of who we are can relate/communicate to the Holy Spirit, but God has giving us the earth to be stewards. So it's our responsibility to hear Him by the Spirit and fulfill our purpose on the earth...

Great question!

God is a person. Not human, but a person.
A force has no will. Can gravity stop pulling?

and I don't estimate God. I go by what He says He is: He is Spirit, He is Person, He is Ethereal. Yes God is everywhere, as He isn't confined by the physical, but God also has things that He gave humans, like emotions, like a mind, like a spirit.

and spirits aren't confined to dimmesnion. only the soul and body are. so a spirit can communicate with other spirits, while in another dimmension. that's why we can talk to God. We were always here, we just leave after a while.

you tend to have a low value for God if you see Him as just a force. forces can be manipulated, over powered, and cancelled out. unless you believe God can have these things done to Him, then you have no reason to believe He is a force.

I believe that never dying spirit from God is passed down in the blood. God is life and there is life in the blood. We know God is spirit.

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood

John 14:6 Jesus said, ...."I am the way, the truth, and the LIFE.

The person of God is Jesus Christ, but God is also an all-consuming fire. The Bible tells us that also.

Here is another thought for you - When God created Adam and Eve we were all created at the same time too. We all came from Adam and Eve so God created us at that same time because we just come down from generation to generation through the blood.

Also God said that he knew Jeremiah before He formed Jeremiah in his mother's womb.

People have the false belief of the Trinity where God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one. Yet, as in your question, they would truly be under estimating God's power. God had no beginning and will have no end, so has always been here, but he created everything, so he has been here, but here where? He is more powerful and greater than we can ever comprehend. He created Jesus who is his son, so God was never a fleshly person, but his son was when he came to earth. As for the holy spirit, it is Gods active force, or help which he gives to us during hard times.

I agree... but i think that what the bible says also is true. The human mind cant comprehend half of what God is or what he does. When we die and meet him then we will know, untill then it is just questions.

Your view of God is pantheistic. The Bible reveals God as personal. Your question denotes that our spirit is eternal, and it is not. It had a beginning. No end, but a beginning. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, He had no beginning and will have no end.

Here are specific scriptures in both the Tonakh and the New Testament. Quotes are by God, Jesus, disciples and apostles.

A Child is to be born as a man who will be the Mighty God.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Jehovah says that He and the coming Redeemer are eternal.
Isaiah 44:6
"Thus says YHWH, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer [Yeshua], the YHWH of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.'"

Jesus confirmed the above as well as His being the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8
Jesus said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Again, Who is the Redeemer? Who is the Savior? YHWH.
Isaiah 49:26
"All flesh shall know That I, YHWH, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

Before He was born, Jesus identified the trinity.
Isaiah 48:16
"Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His SPIRIT Have sent ME."

Three distinct personalities are seen in Jesus' baptism.
Matthew 3:16
When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Jews sought to stone Jesus for claiming to be the eternal.
John 8
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Jesus says that He and the Father are ONE (heis in Greek which means literally the number 1) Jews seek to stone Him for claiming to be God incarnate.
John 10
"I and My Father are one."
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.
Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”
The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God."

Jesus does not rebuke Thomas for calling Him God, but rather promises a blessing to those who would believe later.
John 20:28
And Thomas answered and said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!"
Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Paul confirms that Jesus is God.
Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men... looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

--NO, Jesus is not God or the holy spirit.

--God has never, is not, and never will be a man!

--Jesus was the son of man, is the Son of God, will always remain the Son of God, AND never will be God!

--GOD'S holy spirit, IS Gods' active force, never was a person and never will be!
