Can our perceptions of "luck" sometimes be attributed to what we would refer to as divinity?

I have a friend that's convinced that it was the grace of God that got her out of a couple tight spots. I just call it "dumb luck", but whatever, she's still kewl peeps with this Atheist.

Why CAN'T it be the grace of God? What exactly is luck? Who are we to say that what we call 'luck' isn't God's will?

We can't, because it's all according to His will.

Dumb luck (or coincidence) is just when God chooses to remain anonymous.
