Dogs can travel far for something they want or like.He may have found some sort of funky water that smells like beer or alcohol,or he may have found some young neighbors who like to get him drunk. My suggestion is to jump on the gator or 4 wheeler and explore all over the farm and keep your eyes open.
You will eventually find it or may even smell it cooking.
I would certainly get him into AA before he becomes a T-totaler, and take his driving privlages away.Good Luck!!

hmmm i don't think there is a 12 step program for a dog,, or even AA meetings,, but there might be a home made still some where in your area. and as for him being upset i bet nothing worse then trying to kick the habit cold turkey lol

Pin a note to his collar stating that the dog is a member of Alcohol Anonymous and he really needs to quit drinking as he beats the wife and kids when he gets home.

Try to find a dog tap for a Keg and he will be home and happy for awhile, maybe a little hungover but at least he will be home getting drunk...Just joking..

relies upon how old you're. in case you're sufficiently old then basically bypass up on your dad and destroy his face in. in case you're no longer then you fairly're in a pickle. you may desire to call Childline for some suggestion, yet once you have been to touch social centers you may in all hazard get seperated out of your loved ones, which will properly be a good element yet you may in all hazard no longer be waiting to take your dogs with you. What does your mum say approximately all of this and do you have grandparents you are able to refer to? maximum drunks are in fact bullies - i be responsive to he's your dad yet do no longer enable your self to be bullied. it rather is a dificult difficulty and that i do no longer in all hazard be responsive to what to assert as such, yet you may desire to determine to do something.

Write a note on his collar that says, "Please don't give me beer!" or strap a camera to his collar to find out where he's going. Or you could follow him! That's a good way to have some adventure!
Try it! I want to see what this dog's doing! Email me when you find out!

OK, i had this exact same problem except it was my cat. Ends up if you leave milk out or dairy products they can ferment and actually become alcoholic. But for your dog bring him to an A.A. class and hope for rehabilitation.

But seriously, if he is over 21, there is not much you can do about it, try to set a good example at home.....good luck....
Try BARK-ANON.......it can help.......
