They always mate, but i mean constantley, so why won't they lay eggs? please help, im lost, unless the sibling is a male, but thr nose is white, isnt that a female color or something?

Parakeets are very private animals. If you want them to lay eggs you need to provide them with a space they are comfortable with. Typically referred to as a 'mating' box, something that would look a lot like a bird house, only that would have a hole for them to enter, mating parakeets typically would have the female move into the box where the male would then bring her food while she sat on the eggs. Basically without something that gives them a comfortable place they probably won't actually mate.

Try not to encourage mating, as this can lead to health problems in the female (if she is female) if she starts laying eggs too much. You can cover their cages for 12 hours a night to make them think it's winter and not a good time to mate.

If it's a girl, she might be too young to lay eggs, but if it's older than say 6-8 months, its' likely another boy!

When the cere is brown and sometimes it looks like it is peeling a little then it is in a breeding state. If its cere is white then it is too young or not ready.
