Polygamy is against the law in the United States. Too, most men can't afford one wife, let alone two or three. BIG LOVE is just a silly TV show that shows how stressful being a polygamist would be for everybody concerned. I think it would be better if people just took marriage a little more seriously,married for the right reasons and worked harder at making a home and family with their spouse. If a man needs more than one steady sexual partner, he's not ready to get married.

If my husband thinks he's going to be a polygamist, he better run very far from me because he won't like what I'm gonna do to him.
No, I don't think polygamy is going to be the norm. Most people wouldn't stand for it.

I assume you're asking from a man's point of view. Not likely. How about the woman? Ladies would you like two (or more) husbands. Seems more sensible to me (ie, support of the family, etc)

Notice how there are mostly women answering this question? What does that tell you. And to the woman who claimed she'll "do something" to her husband if he was polygamous, BULL**** If he fought you like you were a guy he beat you to sleep. Stop talking big and bad. As a woman i hate to hear us say things like that. You just hope that he wont hit back because he's a gentleman.

it's gross. and wrong. and well stupid all around if you can't be satisfied with one wife you need to not get married. and if you aren't satisfied how do you think the wives feel I dubt they feel any satisfaction at all.
