I need to dump my bf of about 5 months, I don't feel attracted to him, and if I'm honest never did. There is a guy I really like and who likes me but we can't be together until I dump this guy. Only, I've never dumped anyone before, not properly anyway and I don't know how to do it at all. what's the best way to do it, baring in mind that i know he likes me more than i like him, and that he hasn't actually done anything wrong, I just don't want to be with him

Get a bunch of spare pictures of boyfriends from your friends and put them in a cigar box. Mail the cigar box to the guy you want to break up with and tell him that's it. Ask him to pick his picture out of the bunch and send the rest back. You'll probably never hear from him again. (This method probably works to ditch girls too).

Or be honest. Tell him you don't want to be boyfriend-girlfriend anymore in a firm but pleasant manner (and no drama). Don't make excuses for the breakup because he may just try to find ways to overcome them. You can ease his ego a little by saying what a good guy he is (probably true), you'd like to remain friends (probably true), etc, etc, but don't overdo it. He might misinterpret it as encouragement.
Good luck.

i be attentive to this is not honest yet women frequently take a seat there and communicate approximately you and positioned extra desirable attempt into their clothing and frequently whilst dumped in the event that they're crying or disappointed (regardless of in the event that they don't look disappointed in front of you) they flow communicate with their pals who're in all probability those imparting you with sh*t and then their pals could tell their boyfriends or different women

Just tell him as calmly & nicely as possible:
" I'm sorry,I think we should just be friends
becuase I only like you as a friend now."
If he's ok with that,he should agree & he'll
find someone else so don't get all mad at him.
Just be easy on him and he'll be all right.

"I'm sorry, but something just doesn't feel right between us. I think we both need to move on, but we can still be friends,"
