Hearing voices in your head is a little different than constants thoughts going through your head. Are you hearing other people's voices or are you having constant thoughts that you can't get rid of?

Hearing other people's voices could be a sign of a mental illness. Thinking someone is following you all the time can also be a sign of mental illness.

Many so called mental illnesses have a physical cause. The first thing you should do is have a physical exam by a qualified doctor. Explain to the doctor what you are feeling and he or she will know where to go from there.
