I realize that everyone's body is different, but I'm looking for the most general method of weightloss that DOES NOT involve popping pills. Also, as far as the "quick" part, I don't really have a time limit, I just don't want it to take a century. Thanks a lot.

Crack Diet. Just smoke crack for a few months. No but seriously it takes diet and exercise. Replace soda with water. Beer with vodka and crystal light. Cut back on meats, fats, and sugar. You can replace the meats with beans on every other meal. Eat lots of salads without salad dressing. If you need a snack eat fruit except bananas. Bananas are fattening. Stay away from nuts they are fattening also. Exercise aerobic 2 times a day for about an hour each time. Do this and you should start to drop about 3 lbs a week. Make sure you drink a 16 oz glass of water before every meal and make sure you stay hydrated.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

You are going to hate to hear this...diet and exercise. Accept no substitute. Get your heart rate up for at least 30 min. a day. You can start with just fast walking. You don't have to go on a strict, agonizing over every calorie diet. Make food switches. 2% milk to nonfat, 100% whole grains for bread, pasta, etc. no sugar, pick low cal or low sodium over "fat free". Instead of ground beef I eat ground turkey or ground chicken. Instead of burgers I opt for a grilled veggie burger. When it is pizza night, I have a Healthy Choice french bread pizza. You can eat all the things you love, but switch to the healthier options. MUST drink a minimum of 64 oz. of water a day. Don't eat 2 hours before bed time. For a book try, "You on a Diet"

Diet and exercise is still the best and safest way to loose weight. Cardio based exercise at a minimum of 15-20min at least 3X a week. Eat healthy. Lots of veggies and cut down on carbs. Check with your doctors first before undergoing exercise and diet. Especially if you have medical problems.

Maybe you could join Weight Watchers! I think that would work great for you. Or count your calories. Try 1200 calories a day, drink lots of water, and exercise. Maybe join Curves, when I joined Curves a few years ago, I was losing lots of inches! Good Luck!!!

count calories and make sure you keep counting them. Cut out all the sugar and drink diet drinks like diet pepsi or diet coke, I like diet pepsi and diet big red and diet dr pepper. At first you will notice the difference in the taste but you will grow to like only diet drinks. make sure you eat 2000 calories at first and when you get used to that take it down a hundred calories at a time until you reach 1500 and hold at 1500. You will see results fast.

If you lived on the moon, you'd be a lot lighter. Try the hot pepper diet if your serious about losing weight.
