All right, he's always telling me i'm pretty and is complementing me, but that's usually right before i spend the night at his house??(something actually only happened once, it was amazing) He always tells me i deserve someone who can give me everything i want and that he can do that( he really can, believe me) He says he loves kissing me, because i have nice lips, he says i have a nice body and that i should show it off, also he always tells his friends how great i am. I love it when he says these things to me, but im not sure if he likes me for the right reasons, ive had so many problems like this before, and im not sure what to do. He never tells me things i want to hear, but nothing about how i am on the inside, help!!! please

So he is full of compliments re your physical self, nothing wrong with that, it is built into our human psyches to attract a male. So enjoy that. I can understand your wish for a compliments on your wit, intellect and general personality. But maybe he needs some prompting, tell him what you want. Men are not very good some times with relating these other things that you crave. TELL HIM. If he cannot then I think you should rethink the relationship with him. He may indeed just be lusting after your body, it is not unheard of as we both know. So act, he (she) who hesitates is lost.

You must be very pretty, and unfortunately that's what men see. They don't see the real you, the person on the inside. Tell him that you love the way he compliments your looks, but it hurts that he ignores the fact that you are a very intelligent, interesting person. If he doesn't get it, maybe he isn't the one for you.

The reasons he likes you are obvious. It doesn't change who you are. You offer him what he is looking for in a women. If that is looks than that is what he wants and it doesn't matter how smart you are.
You aren't being really clear about what you are looking for in this question.
Are you being clear with him or just waiting for him to figure it out on his own?

Have you tried just asking him what he thinks about you as a person? I used to ask my boyfriend why do you like me?..What about my personality? The more you ask what they think about you as a person the more they will tell you. My bf tells me all the time now, but truthfully guys are very superficial and my bf does tell me why he likes me more by talking about my outward appearance.

He likes you because you're hot and the sex is good. He likes showing you off to his freinds because it impresses them and makes him feel like a big man. Try not hooking up with him again untill he learns more about you. If he breaks up with you then he only wanted sex.

Well, he doesn't realize he's doing it, so I would say just to let it slide and continue hanging out... he's trying to be nice, but he's forgetting the fact that personality counts too. So next time he says that, just ask,"What about my personality?"
