He's turning 22, we've been together for 3 years now and we live together as well.
He likes electronics (he already has many: he just got a PDA & new cell) and is a video gamer. Generic gifts like a watch or a tie are out because I got him that stuff for christmas and since we've been together for some years now I feel like thats impersonal.
I'd like to spend less than $100. Any REASONABLE ideas would be helpful.

Oh yeah, and we are both really into alternative rock music so we dress a bit "rockerish".

If he doesn't have one, get him a Voltage Tester. He can do a lot of testing with it in Electronics.

What about making him a home-cooked meal, maybe if you talk to his mom find out what his favorite childhood meal is ( unless you know what it is). (that's all I could think of)
