You are ETERNALLY secure in your Salvation from the moment you're saved. We are SEALED by the Holy Spirit of God, and given ETERNAL LIFE...(THAT'S NEVER ENDING)!

We DO need to repent when we sin, since all sin will break fellowship with God, but it will NOT cause you to lose your Salvation. NOTHING CAN!!

If you fail to repent, you can expect God's chastisement in your life, as He does NOT allow His children to live in a state of rebellion!

This is a very controversial subject in theology so it has been added to Church dogma. Many people can repeat the dogma with confidence but there are less who understand it. Like understanding all things in creation we need to use our minds to comprehend.

Remember this, human beings are fallible and tend to use the logic of the creator with the same consequences as the the wizards apprentice.

When someone loves you as God loves you you will find forgiveness. Through free will we have the ability to not forgive our self when it is within our purview. We likewise may not seek forgiveness. God may honor this or not, depending on the degree of moral authority you have achieved.

Forgiveness as it pertains to things you are responsible for, such as breaking a dish, while not strictly a sin this can be forgiven by others having the moral authority to do this. You can even forgive your self when you posses or acquire the level of moral authority for some offense. This happens a lot growing up and you lean some lesson permanently and can forgive your ignorance. So someone with a moral authority over the sin can forgive the sin. There are many sins that are so great, or too complex that the moral authority cannot be found on Earth. We may always submit these sins to God with our repentance and pray for good outcomes.

I think you can trust in Jesus when things get bad and you are in doubt. He is the kind of guy to surprise you when you think everyone else has left town. Love God and be loved.

I'm 14 also... it is an easy basic question. Jesus helps our sins be forgiven, but in order to have our sins forgiven you must repent, and then stop doing whatever the sin was, or at least try to avoid it. No, you will not be saved for sure no matter how bad the sin is, unless when you sin, you repent and "come back" from your ways.

If you want the bible texts that support my answer, or would like to ask anything else, feel free to e-mail me.

Wait, turns out some people dissagree with my response, so let me put at least 1 text to support my answer. Acts 3:19.

The first part of the text says: "Repent, therefore, and turn around so as to get YOUR sins blotted out"

The texts shows the importance of not just repenting, but turning around. If you don't "turn around" and stop sinning, you will not be saved. Once saved always saved is false.

When we come to Him as a believer and except His free gift, then we are saved. People who don't come to God and accept His free gift are not saved, but always have the potential. When we are saved we will go to Heaven even if there are sins we haven't asked forgiveness for. I do have to tell you though being a Christian we don't have to be perfect and we never will be perfect, but we need to strive for it. You don't walk in a store and steal something and think it's okay I'm a Christian God will forgive me. You have to strive to never sin, but if you stray you will be forgiven. Whenever you sin you need to repent. Also remember God loves you regardless of what you do and always will.

That replaced into good use of your good judgment. it rather is even nevertheless God's plan to have a blood sacrifice because of the fact without the laying off of blood there is not any forgiveness of sins. analyzing the old testomony could show that to you. for the reason that Father God demands a blood sacrifice then an fairly final sacrifice had to be achieved if all sinners are to have their sins forgiven. Jesus miraculously got here in human sort to go through and shed His blood, die a maximum terrible beating death so as that by skill of believing in Him we could get carry of forgiveness of sin and get carry of everlasting existence, a loose present Father God made the guideline basically like He did gravity.

Christ's death on the cross made it possible for us to be forgiven our sins. Our part, is to ask for the forgiveness.
Example; Christ died on the cross already. So if I go out and murder 1,000,000 people and rape 1,000,000 women and do not ask forgiveness; will I be forgiven on judgment day?

There also comes about a case where person X lives an especially godly life for 80 years, but sins; and dies two seconds later. The decision would be God's call not mine. (Romans 3:23).

God always forgive our sins, if we repent humbly, promise not sin against. But, We can't keep doing the same wrong stuff with knowing, that Jesus their to forgive and save us all the time. We'll have a part to do, and never attemt bad, sin, temptation, and hurt your Soul and hurt God too. if you really Love god, (Jesus) we shouldn't sin. No body's rightious and we'll have weakenesses being as a Human nature. You're big enough to understand what right and wrong and sins. You ask God to strenghthen, guide, give wisdom, bless, and protect you in every bad situation and save you. When our Judgement day last day our (Death) only God could sees us and we got to answer to God just like in the Court House. On that day God will judge what penely we'll get according to God's measure how we pleased by doing right, follow Jesus life and do good.

Let me tell you how it goes. You can sin like crazy before you are saved so go and have fun and then repent. Its that easy!!! Then afterwards once you are saved you can continue to sin because you are already saved! What a deal!! Its really pointless if you ask me.

Very good question. Christ died on the cross, so that our sins, when we commit them, can be forgiven - when we repent of them. To repent just simply means to tell God that you realize what you did was wrong, and that you have a change of heart and will try not to do it again in the future. Just like when you do something and maybe you go to your mom and say, this is what i did, and I know it was wrong, I'm really sorry about it - i'll try to do better next time.
Will we sin again? Yep, as long as we are in this flesh, we will make lots and lots of mistakes. But thats okay, because you can be forgiven for each one. This is not a "license to sin", you understand. But if you really are sincere that you know it was wrong and ask for forgiveness, you will be forgiven. Once you are saved, you are saved forever. Never ask God to save you again because you just sinned. What you need is to repent, not to be saved again. If you ask to be saved again, its like saying to God that He didn't do it good enough the first time and he needs to save you again.
That would be insulting to Him. Also, don't make the mistake alot of adults do: They commit a sin, ask for forgiveness, and then because they never forgive themselves for what they did, they keep bringing it up in prayer to God, over and over again. Once you ask for forgivness, you are forgiven, and God does not want it even brought up again. Because once again, to bring it back up and ask for forgiveness of that sin over an over is like saying he didn't forgive you in the first place.
Talking to God the Father in prayer is just like talking to your dad: He is your heavenly father, and really, the closest relative you have. Just talk to Him like you are talking to your dad; he will appreciate that communication more than if you just recite some written prayers - nobody would like that, and God doesn't either. Just talk to him plainly. If ya sin, repent, and go on happy about your day knowing all is well, and that sin is blotted out of existance, like it never happened, okay?
You sound like you are doing just fine; keep in mind in this section you will come across lots of people who will want to tell you to dump this whole God thing and just believe in yourself.
We have lots of Athiests on here, and even some wacko religious phanatics. You keep your faith, and remember to keep balance and common sense in all things. Its real nice to have you here. Have a great day!!

When you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour you are forgiven for all past sins.
You are showing wisdom beyond your years when you admit that you will sin in the future, because we all do.
When you confess these sins you are forgiven for those also.
