can i ask a girl that has a boyfriend to prom since her boyfriend cannot go?

Sure....just make sure that it's alright with her boyfriend. If he really cares about her, he won't want her to miss her prom simply because he can't go. Matter of fact...my son is taking a girl to prom this year that has a boyfriend, and he has a girlfriend. Both his girlfriend and the other girls boyfriend are ok with it because neither of them can go and they know that Cody and his friend are going as FRIENDS....no one should miss their prom because their boy/girlfriend can't go......ask her and if she says yes....treat it as a date and get the corsage, take prom pictures and have the memory, just remember that you are going as friends. ; )

I'd ask her boyfriend first so you don't get the crap beat out of yourself. I'd think if you're asking her as a friend and not to try and take her away, then if said it was ok then I don't see why it'd be a problem, but I'd talk to her boyfriend first.

why not? If she wants to go why shouldn't she. I guess if you want her for more than just your prom date then it's probably a no.
