OK.... your going to have to seriously talk to your mother about this. explain to her that she is acting like a peeved child and that she is hurting you and she needs to stop. tell her that she needs to please stop making rude comments like so and that they are just bringing you down and not helping you find your beloved cat. put the flayers around your neighborhood and at the local Pound and at your school, even. try doing anything you can to find your pet, regardless of what your mother says.

Yes, you should and if it is your things and you don't ask her for anything why should she mind, just make sure the person that calls brings the cat to you...you can't put yourself in danger...ok? Get a number and then take a grown up with you if push comes to shove. Also, call the local pound. Ask neighbors. If the cat isn't fixed it can be gone for days, this is matine season. All pets should be fixed. Most areas have low cost clinics if you can't afford it and since they don';t care I guess they won't pay. You can save birthday money and even ask for them to pay for your B- day instead of a present. They should respect your wishes and your caring heart. My family all love animals and I know if you aren't raised that way it is difficult to understand, my hubby was that way but he is a changed may. Never give up hope, just keep up the love and maybe they will someday change. he tried to act tough for years, he's given up and is in LOVE with the new dog we have, they are buddies and I am nobody...lol Good luck with the catm, most the time they come home.

Your parent's probably got rid of the cat, it didn't run away.

What to do with your parents? Leave them out side in the rain, and don't change their litter box...

Don't put up posters with your phone number, but call your local shelter to see if they found any new strays. Do it fast before the cat is euthanized. Walk around the neighborhood, call, and listen for it.
