Build self confidence. It seems like your doing everything you can if you are doing what you say your doing. I am 22 6'1 and 158 LBS and I have trouble putting on weight. Just roll with the punches, you will lose the weight. The greeks didn't build Rome in one day

One approach would be to keep carry a small pocket notebook and keep a journal of everything you eat and drink for one week. Often times we eat or drink (soda) more than we're aware of.

There are plenty of tasty herb teas in the grocery stores to drink (without sugar) in place of regular or diet soda.

Once you can reflect on your eating and drinking habits you can start eliminating unhealthy choices. You should gradually eliminate all soft drinks and candy. Make sure you keep eating protein so you don't burn your own muscle, for a protein source, along with fat.

I don't even know if you're drinking soft drinks, that's often one the problems with people struggling to lose weight. Stop eating anything that says, "Diet" on it. That's usually an unconscious signal to think it's okay to eat or drink more of whatever it is.

The best thing you could do is make an appointment with a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant or certified personal trainer to help get you on the right track and seperate fact from fiction.

You're halfway there with the exercise you're getting.
Good luck!

keep up the exercise, you are in good shape now, but you could get into trouble if you slack off. You probably have a good bit of muscle, which weighs more than fat, and im guessing you arent a tiny thin stick person. What do the boys say, that is what is important, not some scale.

its good to play sports, but you should constantly be active while those sports aren't going on. Eat healthier. You might not eat a lot, but do you eat lots of junk when you do eat? Balance out your excersize and healthy foods. Carbs and Calories are big too, so if you eat lots of those try and go on a low card diet or something. Your weight could also be genetic, and it might be hard to lose weight... but im not sure.

hope i helped a little.
good luck!!

Remember muscle weighs more than fat. I 'm probably not the first to say this you.

My suggestion; stop looking at the scale.. It will happen..As far as diets go .. try more veggies, dark greens , Remember as active as you are. you need protein and calcium, If fast food is an issue cut back..

Also stop worrying, your 16, enjoy what your doing. Have a blast!!!

There's a good chance that your weight is due to the buildup of mucle. If you feal otherwhise, just try taking gum with you everywhere. When ever you feal like eating a snack, have some gum instead.
