I don't know whether the answer is considered spam or advertising - but you did ask - I would use the Open University anytime. They have been doing it for years, are thoroughly professional, their learning materials are first class and their prices are very competitive. They also have a reputation to maintain and so can't afford to run a poor course.

Hi Lindsay,
If it helps, I completed my M.Sc with the Open University last year, they were most helpful, the folks in Milton Keynes, not too expensive, private tutor at the end of an email, etc.
Now going this year for the Doctorate, God willing !
I am fairly sure that they do a psychology HND, so give them an email !
I would avoid "private" companies - my freind attempted a B.A with some nonesense yellow page company, I think it was learn4u and ended up with a £250 debt, no qualification, no recompense, and most dissapointed, being a bright chap with dedication to the "course"
I would not entertain them.
The goodly postal address is The Open University, Walton Hall, Milton keynes, MK7 6AA.
Or just type in OU on a search engine.

All the best - see you in the halls of academia perhaps !

Dr. Bob maybe ..........

I have studied with ICS, I did a diploma in fitness and nutrition. They are very good and the work was set out and broken down well. I have also studied with Oxford Open Learning, and The Open University, I would recommend all of these for anyone considering home study.

You do need to study with a place that has a good reputation, some places offer a very poor service.

I am studying with the NEC (National extension college) They provide a lot of information and support. Their tutors are very friendly and encouraging. My english tutor helped me get my grade up from a C to an A!! This is A level.

The only down side, is that they give you no help whatsoever about sitting the exams. That is just down to you.

i'd check out both the Open college, or the different Uni or college - this gained't be as popular an answer because it would properly be. i does no longer hardship with peopl like study Direct etc - because the qualifactions that they offer are in a great number of cases valueless.
