Will I ever get signed?

Question

If I get singing lessons and work really hard, do you think I have the potential to get signed? I'm only 13, so I guess I have a while, but do you think it's possible? I also write my own songs and have over 50! Thanks!

I would definately take singing lessons, if anything else, you will learn how to use your voice. I just heard you sing, so it sounds pretty good to me, I say you have potetial! Get your singing lessons, practice in front of friends and family, and when you get old enough, try out for American Idol. You'll definately get feedback with those judges. GOOD LUCK!

Pursue your dream, but always have a back-up plan. A singing career is one of those enigmas that you can't count on becoming a reality-regardless of how good you are. Work hard toward your goal, there's always the chance you may succeed and make the right connections. But don't forego your education, and develop your career goals accordingly. This way, should you make your dream a reality, you always have something to fall back on should you lose your voice, etc. Read about those who have succeeded in the music industry. There's a lot of stories out there. But also realize for every one who has succeeded, there's probably 100 who haven't, and who have just as much talent. This isn't meant to discourage you, but rather paint the realistic picture. Unfortunately, in the artistic community, a person's success depends on others. Every artist has to be developed by someone else, and all too often, those who are in that position just don't give all the talented people the opportunities. Good luck!

everythings possable. if i was you, watch american idol, see what the people like and add what you can so when you gte older like 17 or so you can do what you love
